What is DPC?
Direct Primary Care is model of practicing medicine that is a concierge type membership based practice where patients pay a monthly membership and in return receive personalized, direct care from their physician. There is no billing of insurance and patients simply pay a monthly subscription, similar to Netflix. There is no limit to office visits, phone calls or texts – it is all included
Do you accept insurance?
No I do not bill to insurance. I am considered out of network with insurers. Everything is membership based.
Do I need to have insurance?
Yes, I recommend that you still have some insurance coverage. I collect your insurance information at registration so that we can use your insurance to bill for vaccines. I will use a third party vaccine vendor who will bill your insurance for vaccines after the visit. You will also use your insurance for medications, to see specialists, laboratory tests done outside the office.
What are your thoughts on vaccines?
I believe that vaccines are the most important preventative medicine accomplishment in recent history. I prefer to follow the CDC recommended vaccine schedule for my patients.
